Frequently asked questions
Is it fortune-telling? Is it accurate?
No. elematch borrows the traditional framework to produce a reference language for self-awareness and team dialogue — just as DiSC uses four colours. Reports are generated by automated systems, including AI. We claim no scientific validation and offer no predictions or guarantees. The value of a report lies in the conversation it starts, not in being "accurate".
Can companies use it for screening or appraisal?
No — this use is expressly prohibited in our Terms. elematch is voluntary: each person views their own insight and chooses whether to share. Hiring, ranking, dismissal or promotion uses, or analysing anyone without consent, are a breach and grounds for immediate termination.
Is birth time required?
Birth date only — no birth time. Gender is used solely for life-stage calculation; names are optional — we recommend codenames. We deliberately collect as little as possible.
How is members' data handled?
Stored analyses and team data auto-delete 90 days after creation; row-level security means each person sees only their own data. The team map never shows any individual's timing, promotion or retention suggestions. See the Privacy Policy.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel anytime from your account page, effective at the end of the current cycle; started cycles are not refunded pro-rata. Credits are non-refundable except where the law requires, and do not expire while your account is active. See the Terms.
